Experience life with a European host family, discover new cultures and improve your language skills.

Programme Fee: DKK 4,500

Application & Preparation Fee: DKK 2,500
Match Fee: DKK 2,000

Key Requirements: EU citizenship, relevant childcare experience and compliance with the requirements of your chosen destination.

Estimated Processing Time: Approximately 1 month after submission of all required documents. Matching times may vary.

Experience American family life for 12 months, with the possibility of extending your stay for another year.

Programme Fee: DKK 6,000

Application & Preparation Fee: DKK 2,500
Placement Fee: DKK 3,500 (payable upon visa approval)
Visa and SEVIS fees are additional.

Key Requirements: Childcare experience, English B1, valid driver's licence, completed secondary education and programme eligibility.

"The weather in San Diego is amazing and something you truly get to enjoy every day. With around 250 days of sunshine a year, there is plenty of time for outdoor activities.

One of the things I have especially fallen in love with is hiking. There are so many incredible places to explore – from Torrey Pines and Potato Chip Rock to trips to Death Valley and even Hawaii.

I also meet up with other au pairs regularly, which is a great way to connect with people who are in the same situation. It quickly turns into new friendships and shared experiences.

Being an au pair in the USA has been such a rewarding experience. You become part of a host family, learn their traditions, and at the same time share your own culture. It truly feels like getting the best of both worlds.
