Non-EU Citizens – Residing in the EU

Already residing legally in an EU country? Apply for an au pair placement with a host family in Scandinavia.

Programme Fee: DKK 3,000

Start-up & Application Fee: DKK 500
Placement Support & Onboarding Fee: DKK 2,500

Estimated Processing Time: Approximately 3 months after all required documents have been submitted.

Key Requirements: Non-EU citizenship, valid legal residence in an EU country and eligibility under the immigration rules of your chosen destination.

Apply for an au pair placement with a host family in Scandinavia and experience everyday life in a new country.

Programme Fee: DKK 7,500

Application & Screening Fee: DKK 2,000
Introduction Course: DKK 500 (payable before matching)
Match Fee: DKK 2,000
Pre-departure Preparation Fee: DKK 500
Placement Support & Onboarding Fee: DKK 2,500

Estimated Processing Time: Approximately 3 months after all required documents have been submitted.

Key Requirements: Relevant childcare experience, suitable language skills, satisfactory references and eligibility under the immigration requirements of your chosen destination.

Requirements for Non-EU Au Pair Applicants

To apply through Aupairagent, you must meet the following requirements:

Minimum age: 20 years.
Childcare experience: Documented experience caring for children outside your own family. Experience with siblings, nieces or nephews alone is not sufficient.
References: Verifiable childcare references from non-family members.
Personality assessment: Willingness to complete our personality assessment as part of the screening process.
Criminal record: A clean criminal record certificate.
Medical requirements: Satisfactory medical and dental examinations.
Language skills: Sufficient English skills to communicate confidently with your host family.
Commitment: Willingness to complete our interviews, screening procedures and required preparation courses.
