I was an au pair with a family in Jutland, and I have really enjoyed every part of it. Leaving my country and being a part of a danish family has given me a new family and a comfort in a difficult time. They have embraced me and what I came from and my situation. To me it has been important also to get to know the danish culture and learn the language to engage myself in a new country, new culture and with my family, and participate in all kinds of social activities.

I have had the opportunity to be an au pair in Holte with a family, and I have had such a good experience. Being part of a danish family, learning how to cook danish food, and learning the language and getting to know the culture has been amazing. I have also had the opportunity to travel and explore other parts of both Denmark and Europe, which was my goal when I applied as an au pair.
